RELATED COMORBIDITIES OF ALLERGIC RHINITIS
 

• For both children and adults, Allergic rhinitis is more than just sneezing and nose itching.
Complications of this disease are numerous and can have a significant impact, both physically and psychosocially.1

• The symptoms of AR can cause not only physical problems to the nose and lower airway, but also psychosocial problems including those in learning and cognitive processes and in missing work or school. Thus, it is very important to understand other conditions caused by AR when managing this disorder.1



CO-MORBIDITIES OF ALLERGIC RHINITIS

Patients with AR frequently have symptoms of other allergic diseases,
mainly atopic dermatitis, conjunctivitis, and asthma.2

• Polyposis, upper respiratory infection, otitis media

• Decreased quality of life, sleeping disorders, learning & attention impairment
