Tolerability
No severe or serious adverse events occurred and no clinically relevant changes were noted in median clinical laboratory test values or mean vital signs.1

Dosing
- Aerius is taken with or without food.1,2
- Unlike fexofenadine, the bioavailability of Aerius is not influenced by grapefruit juice.3
- The rate and extent of absorption of fexofenadine were reduced by 30% by the consumption of grapefruit juice.3
- Grapefruit juice has no effect on the disposition of desloratadine.1-3
Children aged 1 to 5 years:
2.5 ml once daily.
Children aged 6 to 11 years:
5 ml once daily.
